“Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came!!”

I started doing CrossFit in 2012 when I was living in Houston and a friend peer pressured me to go try this “new thing” with her.

Little did I know that I would find something that I absolutely loved and in turn would share this new love with everyone I possibly could.

My dad said I “drank the Kool-aid”, I said “who cares everyone loves Kool-aid!” CrossFit is a way to show myself how strong and capable I am. As an elementary school teacher it is important for me to encourage my students to try their best and take risks.

CrossFit has provided me opportunity to take TONS of risks and the pay off is always worth it. I’m looking forward to being able to be a part of other peoples’ CrossFit journeys and helping them take those risks.
