I got started at CrossFit after hearing about it for years as a great way to get in shape and compete athletically. After four years as a Division I athlete, I saw that CrossFit Recursive was just a short drive form my apartment and thought it would be the perfect way to continue working out and stay involved in athletics.
I’ve only been a member for a few weeks so far, but have made a point to try my best and do workouts as written (without scaling) whenever possible and improve on skills every week. It’s been challenging but exactly what I’ve been looking for as a way to challenge myself athletically and mentally. I’m loving every workout no matter how difficult it is!
