ENDURANCE and TRIATHLON TRAINING PROGRAMS

 

 Looking to increase your endurance and aerobic capacity?


Coach Jonathan has been working hard this winter on learning about endurance training, aerobic capacity, and triathlon training techniques, and we are very excited to offer 2 new programs!

Endurance Training
Perfect for any type of endurance event – running (5k to Marathon distances), rowing, biking, swimming, rucking, hiking, paddling – you name it! This 12 week program is also great for anyone looking for more cardio and to build aerobic capacity. (You do not have to be interested in training for a triathlon to benefit from this program.) You can expect running, rowing, and biking workouts. Meets Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm starting March 16th, 2020.

Triathlon Training
This program runs concurrently with and will include the Endurance Program, PLUS specific workouts and training to prepare for triathlons. Be prepared to handle the endurance part, plus work on swimming, biking, and running specifically. Included will be pool swims, open water swims, seminars on equipment (proper bike fitting, shoes, wet suit, and transition strategies.)  This 12 Week Program ends with the Lake Mills Triathlon (if interested) on June 7th, 2020 – 400m Swim/16 Mile Bike/5K Run

Program will include 6 Saturday swim sessions (every other Saturday) 4 at the UW Aquatic Center and 2 Open Water swims at Lake Mills, plus 2 Pro Clinics (Wet Suit/Gear and Transitions).

Both programs are designed to work in conjunction with regular CrossFit classes. (CrossFit is the perfect cross training program for these type of events!)
