What is Foundations?
Foundations Class consists of five One-on-One sessions over 2 weeks that focus on the core movements used in our regular classes. Each class will start with a warm-up, some mobility work, skill work to learn new movements, and then end with a workout using the movements learned that day.
Why do we require Foundations?
Nowhere else can you get as much out of an hour than at Recursive. The movements and techniques you’ll perform, however, are sometimes complex and require a bit of learning. For your safety, each and every new member must complete Foundations Classes prior to joining – giving you the confidence and knowledge you need to take on any workout.
(If you have previous experience and/or have taken a Foundations Program or similar already, contact us to see if you are able to test out of Foundations.)
When can I start?
As soon as you are ready! Pick the days and times for your sessions to fit around your busy schedule.
Once you have completed our Foundations Program you are welcome to join any of the regularly scheduled CrossFit classes, Specialty Classes, or stop in during Open Gym time (depending on your membership.)
