Purpose of the Workout:
Since our June strength focuses are grip and holds, we are going to start with a grip test that we will repeat in 2 weeks. This is a straightforward test consisting of a 400 meter farmers carry. The objective here is to choose a challenging weight (2 kettlebells or dumbbells) and to remember what you used so when we retest it, we can use the same weight! In order to incentivise not dropping the weights, you will be penalized with 5 burpees each time you do do so.

The purpose of our strength biased WOD today is to warm up to a heavy weight for our sumo deadlift and get as many reps as we can in :45. We are pairing those up with ring push ups which, if you have not done before, are more challenging than regular push ups due to the fact that you must stabilize those rings.
