Purpose of the Workout:
The purpose of today’s workout is to integrate in some grip/ hold work with other important and beneficial movements. The two movements today are deadlifts (with an extra hold) and strict toes to bar (also with an extra hold).

Our WOD will feature a CrossFit classic: Tabata Intervals. These are 8 consecutive rounds of :20 on/ :10 rest for each movement with 2:00 rest between movements. Because we are focusing on running this month, we are going to be doing shuttle runs. These are different than the type of running we are use to having in WOD’s and will definitely challenge your ability to change direction quickly and maintain that fast pace!
