Start where you ARE.

Use what you HAVE. Do what you CAN.

If you’re ready to get started with your fitness journey or are just looking for a new workout environment, come check us out and see what our community is all about and all the different ways we can help you.

Your first visit with us will be about 20 minutes long. We’ll introduce you to our staff and take a tour of the facility. Then we’ll sit down and talk about your goals. Schedule your appointment.

We will get to know you and your fitness and health goals, and then together, we’ll decide what the best way to get started will be – Small Group Classes, Personal Training, or a combination. The good news is that we have a variety of fitness and nutrition programs available for whatever your needs may be. Come meet us at our facility, which is conveniently located across from Machinery Row. Check out our facility.

Our No-Sweat Intro is exactly that: a no-pressure opportunity to meet with our coaches and discuss where you are and what you want to achieve. We don’t have sales quotas to meet and our only agenda is to help YOU get fit, healthy, and happy. If you feel we are a great fit, then we will help you move on to the next step, Foundations. Get to know our coaches.

Foundations Class consists of six sessions over 2 or 3 weeks that focus on the core movements of CrossFit. In each class you will learn foundational movements and progressions from a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer, along with Olympic Lifts taught by a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sport Performance Coach. Each class will start with a warm-up followed by instruction on CrossFit Movements and/or Olympic Lifts, then end with a workout using the movements learned that day.

Nowhere else can you get as much out of an hour than with CrossFit. The movements and techniques you’ll perform, however, are sometimes complex and require a bit of learning. For your safety, each and every new member must complete Foundations Classes prior to joining, giving you the confidence and knowledge you need to take on any WOD.

Classes are kept small in order to give each person plenty of individual attention while learning these movements.

New classes start at least every two weeks or when we have enough people to fill a class. Contact us to see when the next set of Foundations Classes start. If those class times don’t fit your schedule, let us know so we can make other arrangements. Book your No-Sweat Intro to get started.

If you’re visiting from another box and have previous CrossFit experience, contact us to see if you are able to test out of Foundations.

CrossFit is the real reason we are all here; the meat and (sweet) potatoes of it all. Each class consists of a trainer-lead group warm up, skill or strength work, the workout, and cool down/mobility. Classes last one hour and are offered 7 days a week.

Workouts can be scaled and adapted to meet any fitness level or limitation. Our staff of qualified coaches will ensure that you are moving safely and effectively.

No problem! At CrossFit Recursive, we don’t believe in a one-size fits all approach to fitness. We offer a variety of classes and programs to meet your needs.

Whether you are looking for personal training, strength training, an express class to get you in and out fast, endurance training, nutrition coaching, sport-specific training, or a six-week program to help you take the first steps, we are here for you.

We know that life gets busy and that work and family and life can be hectic. We are here for you!

We offer early morning, afternoon, and evening classes six days a week and a noon class and open gym on Sundays. If that doesn’t fit your schedule, we offer personal training at flexible times.

Check out our schedule and let’s get started!

Coaches that care

I found Recursive and with the help of the WODs and personal training by Nikole and Cam was able to train and meet the entrance physical standards into the police academy this September!
The toughest part for me was the push-ups and Nikole and Cam worked to help me build my strength and my confidence and achieve my goals. I could barley do 10 sloppy push-ups and was able to meet the standard of 19 back this summer with good form!

I love it!

I’ve been a member at Recursive for about 2 months now. I love it! You always leave feeling great because it’s such a good workout. (although you know you will be sore the next day) If you want to feel like an athlete join a CrossFit gym, everything is designed to increase your entire body strength. The coaches at Recursive really are awesome too! They’re all super friendly and will help push you to the best you.

My favorite part about Recursive? All of you!

I found Recursive by luck, honestly. I had wanted to try CrossFit for the longest time, but I always found an excuse not to join: it was too expensive; I need to get into shape first so I don’t embarrass myself; or I’ll do it in a couple months once I have x, y, and z in order…shockingly, I never got in shape on my own, and I haven’t figured out how to put x, y, and z to rest either. Finally, I was presented with a perfect opportunity to join when my work had a discounted Foundations Class available for a silent auction (thank you CFR and thank you Bree). Once I won I was super excited, and super nervous (no more excuses). Bree immediately came and talked to me to explain how awesome y’all are and how I would love it. Turns out she was right on both counts.
